Every genre has its inherent strengths when it comes to stories, but for me, science fiction is one of the best because it allows creatives to explore the world not only as it is, but as it could be. Beyond that, sci-fi can be a great avenue for creating or perfecting new effects technology. It’s really a win-win for the film industry and creative storytelling.
