What’s new at Trader Joe’s this summer? A lot of sweet treats, picnic essentials, and even some summer skincare finds. We recently browsed the retailer’s new products page to see which items we want to add to our shopping list for our next trip to TJ’s, and there’s so much to be excited about.
TJ’s is making the most out of strawberry season with some delicious desserts and candies, like the Strawberries & Cream Cloud Cake (a European spin on a strawberry shortcake), Strawberry & Watermelon Marshmallows (sneak them in rice krispy treats!), Strawberry Fields Gummy Candies (perfect for picnics), and Strawberry Mini Sheet Cake (a new flavor for the popular dessert).
The new products lineup also has you covered when it comes to sandwich breads—just in time for those beach sammies and barbecues. Think Sandwich Starters (pre-sliced and ready to go), Pretzel Buns (they work on burgers, too), and Potato Buns (the perfect vehicle for grilled meats!).
And those are just some of the noteworthy eats you’ve got to try this summer—take a look at the rest of the lineup below.
Strawberry & Watermelon Marshmallows, $3
These fruity and fluffy marshmallows are flavored with strawberry powder, watermelon powder, and natural flavors. Eat them straight out of the bag or sneak them into desserts like rice krispy treats.

Strawberries & Cream Cloud Cake, $6
A combo of a strawberry shortcake and a treat from a European patisserie, this dessert has two layers of sponge cake and a custard filling, all covered in whipped cream and topped with strawberries and even more whipped cream.

Italian Pistachio & Fior di Latte Gelato Style Frozen Dessert, $5
Pistachio is having its moment right now so it’s no surprise that it’s made it to the dessert aisle at Trader Joe’s. This extra creamy gelato is a mix of pistachio and fior di latte. Get it before it goes away—it’s available through August.

Ranch Cottage Cheese Dip, $4
Made with cottage cheese, this ranch dip has an extra dose of protein.

Sandwich Starters, $3

Watermelon Lip Mask, $6
There’s a summer version of TJ’s popular vanilla lip mask. This one contains watermelon seed oil for a fruity scent and has a subtle shimmer.

Strawberry Mini Sheet Cake, $6
TJ’s mini sheet cakes have been such a big hit and there’s a new, exciting flavor in town: strawberry. The cake is the same size as the others, but this one features strawberry preserves and a cream cheese frosting that includes strawberry purée.

This soft and chewy flatbread is the perfect carb-y vehicle for dips and wrap fillings.

Dark Chocolate Thins On the Go!, $3
These individually wrapped chocolate thins are studded with cocoa nibs and a sprinkle of sea salt.

Passion Fruit Sorbet, $5
Refreshing, sweet, and tangy, this sorbet makes for the perfect light, summery treat. Eat it alone, or TJ’s recommends mixing it with its Guava Passion Fruit Greek Yogurt for a cocktail, or adding a scoop to a chilled glass of sparkling water for a float.

Spicy Dynamite Sauce, $3
Made with a base of vegan mayo mixed with pickled chili peppers, sesame oil, garlic, and horseradish-mustard paste, this sauce is hot, sweet, and savory all at once. Put it on just about everything: burgers, rice bowls, French fries, chicken nuggets, grilled salmon, roasted veggies, and more.

Hard Top Chocolate Shell Topping, $3
This ice cream topper works like magic—it hardens when drizzled over cold ice cream. Experiment with your favorite flavors.

Meatball Calzone, $7
This meaty and cheesy snack heats up in just 15-20 minutes (depending on if you throw it in the oven or air fryer). TJ’s recommends serving it with a sprinkle of torn fresh basil or its Aglio Olio Seasoning Blend and shredded parmesan.

Organic Sour Apple Watermelon Fruit Leather Wrap, $0.49
Here’s a new flavor to add to TJ’s growing list of fruit wrap flavors—and this one is the first with a sweet-and-sour taste.

With notes of dark chocolate and red fruit, this silky and smooth coffee deserves a spot in your morning cup of joe rotation.
