If you’ve been rejoicing at the news that Costco has begun serving Coca-Cola products in their food courts again (I have!), there’s even better news coming from the retailer. In August, Costco will open seven new locations—including two in the Western U.S. and one in Mexico.
In the West, one new location will open in Richland, located in southeastern Washington, at the heart of Columbia Valley and the state’s wine country. Another will open in Spring Valley, Nevada, just about a 15-minute drive from the Las Vegas Strip (depending on traffic, of course).
Costco will also expand its global footprint in August, with a new warehouse in north Guadalajara. Additionally it will open stores in Rimouski, Quebec, Canada, and east Newmarket, Ontario, Canada. This follows store openings in Korea and Sweden in June and July.
In a third-quarter earnings call this year, Costco’s CEO Ron Vachris said that they planned to open 27 new warehouses in the 2025 fiscal year, with the global warehouse count reaching 914 by the end of the fiscal year.
Take a look at the August openings below:
- Rimouski, Quebec, Canada
- The Villages, Florida
- North Guadalajara, Mexico
- Richland, Washington
- Allen, Texas
- East Newmarket, Ontario
- Spring Valley, Nevada
