The iPhone Air looks great, but the compromises are hard to ignore

Apple has always struggled with how to bridge the gap between its Pro and base iPhones. While models like the iPhone 5c and XR were clearly budget versions, the bridging attempts really started with the Mini models in the iPhone 12 and 13 series, offering a smaller, more affordable option.
