We’re not really into trickery, but there’s one way to treat yourself during this year’s spooky season: Today, Trader Joe’s is bringing back their popular mini canvas totes in four new colorways. At just $2.99, these are a sweet steal, and you can find them in stores across the country.
Described as “Trick-or-Treat Mini Canvas Totes,” the new bags feature festive and fall-forward colors: black, orange, purple, and green. These are exclusively sold in stores and only available for a limited time, though we’re not sure how long they’ll be up for grabs.

In March 2024, Trader Joe’s dropped the original collection of teeny-tiny canvas bags with blue, yellow, red, and forest green accents. This past April, they released a pastel set with blue, pink, purple, and green options, which are currently listed for as high as $10,000 on eBay.
“After introducing our original, limited-edition TJ’s Mini Canvas Tote Bags in 2024, we were so pleasantly surprised by their rapturous reception,” the company wrote on their website. “So much so, in fact, that we decided to give TJ’s Pastel Mini Tote Bags a try this past spring, and, well, all we can say about that is WOW. (Like, BIG WOW.)”
Like the other viral bags before them, these Halloween-inspired totes measure “about 13 inches long, 11 inches tall, and 6 inches deep,” according to the company website. We expect them to sell out just as quickly, too, so we recommend heading to your local TJ’s ASAP to snap one (or all four) up.
