I stopped losing File Explorer tabs after discovering this better tab manager

Tabs in File Explorer are genuinely useful for multitasking. However, like all default apps in Windows, it’s basic. The tabs won’t survive a restart, you can’t restore closed tabs, and there’s no window management to speak of.
