This Android gallery app is so good it made me almost ditch Google Photos

I have been relying on Google Photos for a long time. It was convenient—log in to a Google account, and the entire photo library is there on any phone—in a jiffy. But with every new picture I take, I grow increasingly uneasy about reports of a corporation scanning every single one of my snaps. This developed a creeping dissatisfaction and made me look for a better alternative.
