I visit precisely five websites on a regular basis, mostly tech or news: CNBC.com, TheVerge.com, Nytimes.com, MakeUseOf.com (naturally!), and Reddit. I’ve come up with a method to easily access these websites right from my homescreen, without having to open the browser. It’s a simple trick you can do on any Android or iPhone, and it uses a browser feature that has admittedly been around for years but that you probably forgot about. It will reduce the number of taps required to go from the homescreen to the internet favorites by 33%. That doesn’t seem like a lot, but when you’re on the go and trying to get information quickly, seconds matter.
