Plain English knows a thing or two about time travel.
A new palette with its origins in verdure tapestries faded in time. The wooded landscapes and country scenes often found in these paintings in thread, have coloured a paint collection that is gentle yet curious, familiar yet hidden.
Step through an 18th century portal and stroll the parklands of history under tree canopies and shifting skies. These new shades are all about the things you see along the way – mossy tracks, bosky meadows, high-walled courtyards, gloss painted passages, curtained doorways, and laundry lines.
The Colour Collection No.5 comprises eight evocative paint shades created and curated by art director Sue Skeen with co-founder and creative director Katie Fontana who comments, “We were looking for a completely new colour story. Sue shared some wonderful old tapestries. We loved the idea of working with these worn colours to weave together our own story. Developed uniquely for the series of interlinked rooms in our Pimlico showroom, the colours evolve on a harmonious journey.”
Experience COLOUR COLLECTION No.5 in the kitchens, dressing rooms, larders, sculleries and pantries in the expansive new setting on the Pimlico Road and in all the Plain English showrooms.
This new range sits alongside the existing colours in the collection, and all 50 colours are available exclusively to Plain English clients.
