We’ve been delighted to discover that Shaker design traditions are alive and well—in Japan. First we came across the work of Nagano master artisan Masashi Ifuji, maker of some of today’s most prized Shaker boxes. More recently, we featured Tokyo housewares shop Orné de Feuilles and its Shaker-style cat beds and wastebaskets: see Found in Translation.
Now, the two have come out with similar receptacles for dispensing tissues in style.

They come in two sizes designed to conceal cube-shaped boxes of tissue. Prices range from $114 to $154 depending on size and finish.
