Swantje Hinrichsen is a graphic designer and illustrator with a flair for interior design: see her Artful Kitchen Built from Reclaimed Ikea Parts, Extreme Budget Edition. That was in her former living quarters: she and her family have since moved to a bright space in Münster, Germany, that we’ve been admiring on Instagram. We’re not the only ones: furniture and interior studio Donnerblitz Design also of Münsterland recruited Swantje to come up with four color combinations for its metal-framed Friis dining table lending the minimalist design, in their words, “a new expressive dimension that makes it a real eye-catcher.”
For those of us who have been eyeing Reform’s color-blocked Match kitchen cabinets by Muller Van Severen but are not prepared to go quite so bold, the three-toned Friis may be the perfect answer.
