So it begins! This week, I started making small seasonal updates to a few vignettes around our home for the season ahead. If you’ve been looking for an easy way to refresh your home as fall approaches, adding or swapping out a wall mirror is one of my favorite tricks. As the light begins to swift in the months ahead, mirrors are a great styling tool for reflecting light, creating the illusion of space, and they instantly make a room feel more tailored. I had to hop over to Lowe’s for grout earlier this week and came home with a wall mirror (which prompted this post)! Today, I’m sharing 20 of my favorite designer-approved wall mirrors from Lowe’s… these would easily blend with any aesthetic and are budget-friendly. Click through for my curated picks.

I previously shared 20 vintage and antique round gilded mirrors, but I hear you… many were pretty pricey and being one-of-a-kind, the best ones sell out quickly. My wall mirror selections in this post are all timeless picks that won’t feel trendy or dated in a year… some even have that antique or vintage look. Whether you’re updating your entryway, bathroom, bedroom, or living space, these will elevate your space without breaking the bank.
Why I Like Decorating with Wall Mirrors

Emmett came home from work yesterday and immediately noted how much brighter this corner in our living room looks. Before we dive into the roundup, here’s why mirrors are one of my go-to styling tricks.
- Instant Light Boost – Perfect for darker rooms, shadowed corners, or cozy fall evenings.
- Make Small Spaces Feel Larger – Mirrors visually increase the size of a room.
- Add Balance & Symmetry – Ideal for above consoles, sideboards, fireplaces, or nightstands.
- Easy Seasonal Updates – A simple swap keeps your home feeling fresh… I’ll swap this for my summer art again next year, but this little change revitalized the vignette.
Designer tip: Hang mirrors opposite a window or light source to really maximize their effect. Mirrors are also great for layering, so don’t be afraid to style a light fixture, art, or objects in front of the mirror to add depth.
20 Designer-Approved Mirrors from Lowe’s

I like to divide mirrors into three categories to make shopping and styling easier, depending on what my space needs…
- Classic Round Mirrors
Round mirrors soften straight architectural lines, making them a great tool for balance… install these above a console, sideboard, or a fireplace.
- Arched & Shaped Mirrors
If you want something a little more architectural, arched and uniquely shaped mirrors add visual interest.
- Timeless Rectangular Mirrors
Rectangular mirrors are practical, but that doesn’t mean they have to be boring. These options have beautiful frames that feel intentional and high-end. They can really be installed anywhere… above a bathroom vanity, in a hall or foyer, or above a piece of furniture.
1. Natural Wood Wall Mirror
This is the mirror I grabbed from my local Lowe’s. I liked the subtle curved radius corners, the warm wood frame, and the scale was perfect for our living room corner. This would also be great in a bathroom above a vanity.
2. Round Black Framed Wall Mirror
This round mirror definitely has an antique or vintage look to it. I love the two tone gilded center detail. I could envision this one over a demilune table or a fireplace mantel.
3. Walnut Brown Wall Mirror
If you’re looking for a pretty hall or powder room mirror, this one has a such a beautiful warm walnut color! I also really like the frame shape.
4. Rectangle Silverleaf Wall Mirror
Mark my words, silverleaf will never go out of style. We have very similar mirrors hanging behind our bedside tables in our primary bedroom. This one also has a nice vintage look.
5. Arched Gold Framed Wall Mirror
If you’re looking for an arched mirror, this gold one has just the right amount of detail, without looking too ornate. I could see this one installed over a dresser or bedroom storage.
6. Square Manhattan Black Framed Mirror
Square mirrors get a bed rep, but I think they’re super versatile and charming! I’d install this one at the end of a hall or as apart of a larger gallery wall. In fact, it would look pretty fantastic in our entryway!
7. Round Walnut Framed Mirror
Wood framed mirrors add the perfect amount of warmth and texture. This double framed mirror is a solid option that could be installed in any room.
8. Ornate Gold Wall Mirror
I love the way this ornate mirror has the visual weight at the top of the frame. This would be ideal for balancing a larger piece of furniture beneath it… like a dresser, sideboard, fireplace, or vanity.
9. Oil Rubbed Bronze Wall Mirror
You can’t go wrong with a classic oil rubbed bronze frame. The subtle distressing gives this wall mirror a pretty vintage look!
10. Beveled Silver Framed Wall Mirror
You’ll have to click into this mirror to see a close up of the leaded frame… it’s so beautiful and looks like a work of art! This is the perfect mirror for the bathroom vanity.
11. Round Gold Framed Wall Mirror
Gilded round mirrors are always a classic choice… this one is no exception, and it looks far more expensive than it actually is (less than $200).
12. Arched Brown Wall Mirror
This arched mirror has a really fun shape with weighted columns on the sides, giving it an antique aesthetic.
13. Antiqued Round Wall Mirror
I love a distressed or antiqued mirror, but the good ones are hard to come by. This one looks pretty convincing! You can also grab another mirror and read my tutorial on how to antique a mirror with paint (the easy way), if you’re after a similar look.
14. Mirrored Bordered Gold Wall Mirror
Click through to see the beaded edge detail on this one… it feels very high end with mitered mirrored edges. This would be great for any bathroom.
15. Bronze Beveled Wall Mirror
I’m really liking the subtle texture on this frame with a gilded inset detail. It also has a great scale. I’d style this above a fireplace or a large piece of furniture.

I have a nearly identical round mirror, topped with a bow, and it’s an antique. They look almost exact! Run for this pretty option. I have mine styled over a writing desk.
17. Black Silverleaf Framed Mirror
This mirror features another timeless silverleaf combination paired with a classic black frame.
18. Antiqued Bronze Wall Mirror
This antiqued bronze mirror almost takes on a warm coppery tone. It’s a beautiful option for any traditional vignette!
19. Natural Framed Wall Mirror
If you’re looking for an interesting mirror that mixes materials, I really liked this round option. I feel like it could easily blend with any aesthetic and would make a great conversation piece that looks vintage.
20. Colonial Embossed Wall Mirror
Last, but not least… this colonial square mirror is an awesome option for any room. This one will never go out of style!
How to Style Wall Mirrors Like a Designer
Choosing the right mirror is just the first step. Here are a few styling tips to make them look intentional…
- Above Consoles or Dressers – Center the mirror about 6–8 inches above the furniture. This can also vary depending on millwork.
- Layering – Lean a mirror against the wall on top of your surface, then place a taller lamp, artwork on an easel, or a vase in front for added dimension.
- Mix Shapes & Finishes – Round mirrors pair beautifully with angular furniture, while brass frames can warm up cooler-toned vignettes. Trying mixing for a nice juxtaposition!

FAQ
Generally, aim for the center of the mirror to be at eye level— about 60 inches from the floor.
Absolutely! Mixing round, arched, and rectangular mirrors creates visual interest, and combining brass, bronze, and wood frames adds depth… in fact, I’d encourage that.
In my experience, yes! Many of their mirrors have designer-level finishes and details, but are far less expensive than designer brands. They also offer same-day delivery.
Choose a mirror that’s about two-thirds the width of the furniture beneath it for a balanced vignette.
