Here’s Where You Should Travel Right Now Based on Your Zodiac Sign

If you’ve got some summer travel FOMO and are wanting to plan a vacay, we feel you. But with the world being our oyster, it’s hard to pinpoint where on the map to set your sights. So we’ve brought in a little woo woo, tapping Going.com travel expert Katy Nastro in collaboration with astrologers at Sanctuary to get some guidance. Going is typically a travel app for discovering flight deals, but today they’re serving as our astrologically inspired travel guide. Using Sanctuary’s horoscopes and their metrics-backed knowledge of flight deals, here’s where you should travel while summer is still here.

Aries (March 21–April 19): Make PTO “Paid Time Outside Your Comfort Zone”

You’re not the type to sit still on vacation, even if it costs a bit of extra pocket change to have that once-in-a-lifetime experience. Fearless, fast-moving, and always up for something that gets your blood pumping, you feel most alive when pushing your limits.

Skip the “chill vacation,” and head straight for something bold and spontaneous, like hiking in Puerto Vallarta, sky-diving in Montana, or jumping into a pasta-making class in Seattle. This is your sign to try something totally new—don’t worry, you can rest after you hit the summit.

Taurus: Live Luxe (April 20–May 20)

You’re not just taking a vacation—you’re curating one. Indulgent, cozy, maybe even a little bit fancy, think something that appeals to all five senses. Rushing it or roughing it has no place on this trip.

Instead of going off the grid on dirt roads in Baja for a surf trip, consider a retreat on O’ahu with Kai Sallas at Kaimana Beach Hotel, complete with farm-to-table breakfasts, private lessons with a world champion longboarder, and morning mac nut coffee. This is your chance to recharge.

Gemini (May 21–June 21): Urban Exploration

You thrive in places that move as quickly as your brain does, which is why a city break is your perfect match. A buzzing urban playground provides exactly what you need: energy, variety, and the freedom to pick something new at a moment’s notice. Museum? Market? Rooftop bar? Yes, yes, and yes, please.

Go cocktail bar-hopping late night in Los Angeles or dance until 2 a.m. in Mexico City’s thriving Roma neighborhood. Be sure to mix in a little bit of everything—history, culture, nightlife, people-watching, and heck, maybe even a new crush.

Cancer (June 22–July 22): Heritage Holiday

For you, travel is personal. You’re not just checking places off a list—you’re searching for meaning, connection, and a place that feels warm or familiar. Remember: This trip is designed to fit your heritage or a place that really draws you in, so head for the place that calls to you. Water has a way of calling you, too, so if your heritage leads you to a charming coastal village? Even better.  Or you may want to check out the significant genealogical resources and the presence of FamilySearch, the world’s largest genealogical library, located in Salt Lake City and explore there while you’re in town too.

Leo (July 23–August 22): Settle in to Self-Care

You give your all in daily life, so when it’s time to unplug, you deserve a wellness journey that gives right back to you. That means it’s time for a travel experience designed for rest, reflection, and realignment (and maybe a few scenic selfies).

This could be a sunrise yoga retreat in Costa Rica, a stylish spa-stay in Sedona, or journaling your goals in the mountaintop hot springs of Banff. The bottom line is that your ideal trip is all about transformation.

Virgo (August 23–September 22): Soak up a Staycation

You’re practical, so it’s no surprise that you appreciate the art of a well-planned staycation. Domestic destinations that are efficient, affordable, and still inspiring are your sweet spot. And just because you’re staying closer to home this time doesn’t mean you won’t eventually crave a bigger escape. Just take this grounding season to marinate.

There’s no shortage of great road trips in the West, one of our all-time favorites is exploring the Central Coast stopping in Pismo Beach, Paso Robles, and of course Santa Ynez for a wine and beach-filled, European inspired getaway.

Libra (September 23–October 23): Blissful Beaches

If there’s sun, sand, and an Aperol spritz involved, you’re halfway there. This trip is all about balance, and there’s no better place to find it than by the water. A beach vacation gives you everything you crave: calm when you need to recharge, energy when you’re ready to play, and a beautiful view always.

Since you love sharing experiences, chances are this trip isn’t solo. So round up your favorite travel companions, book the stylish boutique stay, and make sure everyone gets at least one golden-hour photo. Head straight to the American Riviera near Santa Barbara, where you’ll get the vibes of Italy, minus the jet lag, or our favorite lesser-traveled destination in SoCal, Catalina Island.

Scorpio (October 24–November 21): Rendezvous with the open road

You’re not the type to follow a strict itinerary and would much rather follow your instincts. A road trip or weekend getaway gives you the freedom to take the scenic route, chase down a hidden overlook, or get lost in a place that feels a little mysterious (in the absolute best way).

You’re drawn to destinations with depth and edge, like driving California’s Highway 1 in the fog, exploring the ghost towns and desert landscapes around Nevada. Wherever it is, the best part is what you’ll uncover along the way (bonus points if it wasn’t on the map).

Sagittarius (November 22–December 21): Mountain Escape

You’re not chasing perfect photos, you’re chasing perspective and the thrill of the unknown. You were born to roam, and for you nothing beats wide-open landscapes, spontaneous detours, and fresh mountain air. Road-trip through a national park or other open parkland like the Tetons or the Eastern Sierra. The less you can plan, the better. (Minus the safety bits, of course.)

Capricorn (December 22–January 19): Savor a Solo Trip

You’re not just traveling, you’re on a mission. Whether it’s for personal growth, career inspiration, or checking a big goal off your list, your next trip is bound to have purpose. Luckily, as a natural planner, you’re a pro at crafting solo adventures that are equal parts efficient and enriching. With time to focus, reflect, and move at your own pace, you’ll return feeling sharper, calmer, and more grounded—maybe even with your next big idea.

Aquarius (January 20–February 18): Eco Excursion

Your travel style is anything but ordinary. You’re drawn to places that challenge assumptions and make you feel part of something bigger. You care deeply about Planet Earth and the humans who inhabit it, so your trips tend to have a purpose, whether that’s learning, connecting, or giving back.

Book a stay in a solar-powered ecolodge in the endlessly incredible Pacific Northwest in Washington, Idaho, or Oregon via Amtrak. Or if you chase rare phenomena, like bioluminescent bays or eclipses, head into Dark Sky Country in Utah for the next total solar eclipse in August 2026.

Pisces (February 19–March 20): Small Town Sojourn

You’re a romantic traveler at heart, not drawn to the flashiest cities or the busiest beaches. You want quiet corners, charming streets, and the unshakable feeling that you’re exactly where you’re meant to be.

A small-town trip is just what the doctor ordered. It could be a windswept, harborside town on the Oregon Coast like Cape Kiwanda or a remote seafaring island in the San Juans. Either way, you’ll be wandering bookshops, chatting with locals, and soaking up every soulful moment.
