If you’ve ever spotted a ceramic baking dish or cream colored pot in one of my recipes, chances are it’s Caraway. I’ve used their cookware and bakeware in my kitchen for 2-3 years, and now you can shop their entire line on Wayfair. With their recent launch, it’s easier than ever to snag these beautiful, nontoxic kitchen staples! Since being diagnosed with an autoimmune condition, we’re very intentional and conscious about the items we bring into our home. We’ve transitioned to clean living, organic foods, and use chemical-free, or natural products as often as we can. I’ve cooked countless meals, baked more loaves of banana bread than I can count, and will admit- I also love seeing the Caraway cookware neatly stacked in our cabinets. Today, I’m sharing my personal favorites, what makes them special, and how they’ve held up over time. Whether you’re outfitting a new kitchen or upgrading your cookware one piece at a time, this collection is as functional as it is beautiful. Let’s dive into the pros and cons…

Did you know, 95% of home goods are made with toxic materials? I didn’t… until I began researching when my health took a turn. These chemicals or toxic materials can affect your hormones, immune system, and more. Emmett and I decided we needed to make some changes here at home- from our diet and routine to things we use on the daily. When you think about how often we use our pots and pans, it really makes you want to choose cookware that is safe! That’s how I found Caraway a few years ago- when researching better bakeware.
Why I Love Caraway
I’ve tried a lot of cookware and bakeware over the years, but Caraway stands out for a few key reasons. First, their ceramic coating is naturally non-stick, so it cleans easily (without containing Teflon). Here’s a quick breakdown:
- Nonstick and nontoxic: Their ceramic-coated aluminum is free from PTFE, PFOA, and other heavy metals and harmful forever chemicals.
- Even heating: No hot spots, just consistent cooking from edge to edge. They’re also oven safe up to 550 degrees.
- Designer aesthetic: The muted matte colors look elevated and timeless… they also include classic silver options.
- Organized storage: I appreciate anything that helps keep my cabinets organized. Their bundles include cabinetry organizers to efficiently store the cookware, saving space.
- Bundled sets: Their sets cover most of your cooking needs, saving you money by bundling. I can honestly say- we use all of the pieces in our bakeware set.

My Favorite Caraway Cookware Pieces
These are the items we purchased for our kitchen. I love baking and do it often, so my priority was a streamlined bake set… and Emmett’s request was a good nonstick pan for everyday use.

The Mega Bakeware Set
- Medium Baking Sheet – We use this most often for cookies.
- Large Baking Sheet – The large baking sheet has sturdy handles and is the perfect size for roasting vegetables, protein, and more. It’s heavy duty, and we use it most often for dinner. We’ll toss meat on one side and veggies on the other for easy single-pan cleanup.
- Cooling Rack – I honestly didn’t expect to use the cooling rack as much as we do. This has been handy for baked goods.
- Rectangle Pan – This is your standard baking pan… it’s one of the most versatile in the set. I use it equally for baking desserts (like cake) and roasting dinner.
- Muffin Pan – I use the muffin pan a lot… from egg bites to cupcakes, it’s another heavy hitter in our rotation.
- Square Pan – I mostly use the square pans for desserts- bars, cakes, brownies, and everything in between.
- Loaf Pan – This is oddly my most-used item from the baking set… apparently I love making foods that require a loaf pan. It’s the perfect size and easily releases even the most dense cakes- everything from banana bread and coffee cake to pumpkin loaf.
- Round Cake Pans (two) – I’ve never had a cake stick in these pans. I’m often baking layered cakes and I appreciate that this set includes two, so I can bake them simultaneously, saving time.
- Storage Caddies (two) – The storage organizers are the unsung heroes of the baking set. These are such a space saver and keep the interior of our cabinets looking neat!

The Fry Pan
We have the frying pan in a few sizes. We landed on the trio bundle, and keep the smallest size in our camper… which is actually perfect! This one is a workhorse for eggs, sautéed veggies, and quick dinners. Nothing sticks, and cleanup is a breeze.

How These Hold Up Over Time
After years of daily use, my Caraway pieces still look and perform beautifully. A few honest notes:
- I hand wash these 98% of the time, though they clean up easily.
- We’ve yet to have any chipping or scratching.
- The lighter hue (we have the cream color) shows wear slightly more on the exterior. Ours definitely have a patina and look used, which doesn’t bother me all too much.
- I use silicone or wooden utensils to extend the life of the coating… we recently switched to all wooden utensils (again, trying to make nontoxic choices). We avoid any metal utensils for these pans!
- If you’ve seen these styled in my kitchen before, you know how seamlessly they blend with the classic aesthetic of our kitchen… they definitely take the cake for visual appeal.
- The in-cabinet organizers are super handy… I’d buy the bakeware set again, just for those. They’re sturdy and fit everything perfectly.

Wayfair just started carrying Caraway’s full line of cookware and bakeware- with new bundled sets. I’ve curated my favorites above. I’m partial to the cream and gray colors, but the navy is also really pretty! You know me… I stick to the classics. The brighter colors aren’t really my aesthetic.

FAQ
They are… their ceramic-coated cookware is free from PTFE, PFOA, lead, and cadmium. It’s a safer option for everyday use, if you’re after a new nonstick set.
Yes! All Caraway cookware and bakeware is oven-safe up to 550°F, which is great for baking, roasting, and finishing dishes. A lot of our favorite dinner recipes even require the broiler to crisp the dish for a few minutes, and we’ve had zero issues.
I’d recommend hand washing these to preserve the nonstick coating long term. We’ve definitely put ours in the dishwasher before, but 98% of the time- we wash them in the sink. It’s quick, since they’re nonstick!
With proper care (no metal utensils, no high heat on an empty pan, and hand washing), these have held up beautifull over time. We’ve been using our set for 3ish years and they still look and performs like new. The interior is perfectly, but the cream exterior does have a bit of a patina at this point… only on our frying pans (not the bakeware- it’s still perfect).
I gravitate toward neutrals like cream or gray, but Wayfair carries all of the hues— go with what best suits your kitchen and personal aesthetic!
