Well, the start of 2025 has been a blur, and not in a good way. My anxiety is at an all-time high and I’m sure I don’t have to explain why.
I thought I’d just pop in today to show that I am still here. I’m turning the big FIVE O today. Do I feel fifty? The good news is NOPE, I don’t, unless I look in the mirror in the morning or unless I try to participate in certain workouts LOL.
Skiing has been great this winter so far and we have been taking advantage of that, especially my husband who goes several times a week. Once a week is enough for me since I still work up there twice a week too and all I want is to go home after I’m done.
I’m not having a party. All I wanted was to go away for my birthday with my family. We are going to the Dominican Republic a little bit later when the kids have time. It is booked! We have never gone to an all-inclusive resort because all we ever did was go home to Germany. It will be a completely new experience for us all and I’m looking forward to that because I have a feeling it will be the last time we ever have this type of vacation together just the 4 of us.
