After years of jumping between bloated platforms that promised to “revolutionize” how I organize my thoughts, I stumbled upon something completely different. Memos is an open-source note-taking app that does exactly one thing really well: it lets you capture thoughts instantly without any friction. I discovered this lightweight tool while searching for an alternative to subscription-heavy apps that continually added features I never requested.
