Summer is ripe for growing simple kitchen herbs. Light is abundant, time moves a little slower, and tending to a small plant is an achievable summer goal. If you cook with herbs regularly, growing your own is a smart investment—and a great way to reduce waste from unused herbs wilting in the fridge. Here are favorite pint-sized picks.
